Clicking on my version link in my.hdhomerun site gives me a 404 error

Post by Berndern » Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:44 am

I'm trying to upgrade my firmware on my Model: HDHR4-2US. When I navigate to my.hdhomerun.com site, i'm presented with the version link which says "20161117". When I click the link I get a 404 error. "It's not you, it's us. The page you requested is most likely being maintained and will reappear here shortly"

Any ideas? I've been having some playback issues and want to try to upgrade the firmware to see if that will fix my issues but I can't get to the spot to do it.

Try using the Mac or Windows installer:

If using a Windows PC, download and install the HDHomeRun Setup utility (note that this is different from the normal viewing app) and then run the HDHomeRun Setup utility. Opening the utility will cause it to automatically search for and update firmware for all HDHomeRun units on the network.

If using a Mac, download and install the HDHomeRun software. The installer will automatically search for and update the firmware for all HDHomeRun units on the network.

This worked perfectly, thanks you NedS!
