DVR engine stopped working on EX2 Ultra NAS

DVR engine stopped working on EX2 Ultra NAS

I've been a successful user of HD DVR for more than a year using Connect DUO and WD EX2 Ultra NAS. I use HD DVR app on Fire TV, iOS and Win10.

A few days ago I noticed I couldn't find any recordings or make a recording on any of my devices. Live TV works fine. I looked at my.hdhomerun.com and it shows the Connect DUO, but it says no HD Homerun DVR detected. I checked my subscription status and it looks up to date.

The only thing that has changed on my network/NAS is I updated EX2 Ultra firmware and re-booted it (which I have done multiple times over the last 1.5yr). The HD DVR engine on the EX2 Ultra NAS shows that it is installed and enabled.

My old recordings are still located in the Public/HDHomeRun directory on the NAS. HD DVR engine on the NAS is version 20180418.

Any ideas how to get the engine working again ?? I'm having a bit of a WAF issue...
