My HDhomerun Record always out of date?

Never can get this to update. When I go to my.hdhomerun.com the HDHomeRun RECORD Version 20181107 is listed and never updates even after installing/uninstalling. Always the red X next to it.

What are you running the DVR on? Have you reinstalled following the appropriate install process for that platform?

I run the DVR on a Windows 10 pc and save my recordings on a WDmycloud NAS. I recently went through a uninstall and reinstall of everything after the app started behaving buggy (which it still does and why I am trying out beta features as well).

I'm confused by that statement... is the dvr on windows or the nas as saving to a nas from it being on windows isn't supported. But i assume you mean you run the dvr on the nas. (The app/client is entirely separate and doesn't really do anything to "run" the dvr engine, just accesses it and puts rules in the cloud for the dvr to retrieve)

Which mycloud... if single bay, i suggest making sure to download the latest windows beta software package (full package, not just app). Open hdhomerun setup and do a nas install. If a multi-bay unit, i suggest a "manual" install of the correct (beta) package for your model (i have occasionally seen issues doing the nas install from windows on them though i think the latest does work, personally i do a complete manual install on any nas and not use the windows installer at all though usually recommend using it for the myclouds at least once)

The NAS install works better these days. WD did something that causes weirdness for the package install from the web interface.

rbarr110, you should re-run the NAS Install in HDHomeRun Setup in order to update your NAS to the latest version of the DVR software.

Thanks, I redid the NAS install and it finally updated.
