Running Kodi HDHR plug-in on Kodi 18.3 in Linux Mint 19.2. PC is an Intel NUC5i5RYH. The NUC has separate Linux and Windows 10 drives. Running with a WD My Cloud NAS with v.4 firmware and 2 HD Primes.
In the plug-in when deleting a recording the recording is not removed from the NAS folder. It used to delete recordings earlier this year. The same issue occurs on 3 other NUCs running the same Mint 19.2 and Kodi 18.3.
When deleting a recording in the Windows HDHR software, the recording is deleted from the NAS folder.
The NAS was setup using the Windows setup software. It records and plays back nominally.
Would this indicate a write permissions issue in between Linux and the NAS ? Wouldn't that prohibit recording as well ?

Re: Kodi Plug-In not deleting files on NAS
I don't think the official kodi add-on has been updated in quite awhile... back in May there was a change to the API that delete and poke from an engine requires a POST and not a GET request and if the add-on has not been updated since then, that is most likely the issue.

signcarver is correct. I think this was actually fixed internally a while back and then just never got submitted for some reason. Checking on it.
Re: Kodi Plug-In not deleting files on NAS
Any updates on this issue? I think I am having the same problem. Running Windows 7, Kodi 17, storing on a local partitioned hard-drive instead of a NAS though. It has no problems recording, but I can't get it to delete from Kodi.
Re: Kodi Plug-In not deleting files on NAS
An updated version has been pushed to Kodi. Can you check for updates, install if it hasn't already auto-updated, then try deleting again?
