Just adding in similar experience. I've got two Quatros fed from a single antenna and I constantly get weak signals and stations added into my lineup by the auto scan. I'll mark them X in both Quatro's lineup and they'll come back unmarked during the next random scan. I had this issue when using two Extends previously as well.

Here we go again. Three new channels show up on my dual tuner and one new channel shows up on my quatro.

Is anyone looking at this?

Updating again. Had to mark three more channels.

Maybe, just maybe, one day, I'll either have marked all these channels as rejected or SD will finally provide some relief.

And here I am once again to report having to remove even more &^$(#&)( channels. Any plans on fixing this? Perhaps I should just get rid of these boxes instead.

If such bothers you, switch software that does not require such scans.

The key for disabling to work appears to require one to to pick it up in a regular scan, also if you do a regular scan and it doesn't find it, its dropped to potentially come back.

I'm unsure if Plex and Emby rely upon the tuner's lineup for channels, or if they manage their own lineups; Channels DVR relies upon the tuner's lineup.

Most every other DVR software however (ie, Tvheadend, MythTV, NextPVR, etc.) all maintain their own lineups and perform their own scans. Most of those also allow you to manually specify the frequency you wish to tune for channel mapping, too. (I know Tvheadend and MythTV do, and I believe others do too.)

Thanks for the helpful advice. I'll have to look at switching to something else. That will certainly solve the problem. I'm not sure why I never thought of that!

Had to mark channels again today. Are you keeping count?

I am pretty certain that I've marked these in the past.

Just marked about 10 scanned fringe channels that don't display. Any idea if you guys are even working on a fix?

Have you been doing any manual channel scans during this time?

I appreciate your posts as once a month I have to go in and disable a bunch of crap channels I don't want to see in my lineup.

Occasionally. Is this not allowed?

I'm pretty tired of this. I probably won't post about this anymore. Seems like it isn't very fruitful.

Supposedly for it to "behave" the offending channel must be picked up by a manual scan then disabled... as a manual scan essentially "clears" everything to what it discovers preserving settings only when possible with the newly found lineup.
