you need to make sure the http service can write the .css
i.e. make sure .../themes/default is writable by the http user on your system
Ok, so I've gotten some success by doing that, but still not 100% yet. Now the page is formatted correctly, but I'm still receiving the invalid status error as soon as the page loads. I'm not sure what I'm doing different this time from the last time I was running the UI.

This is what I'm seeing now.

EDIT: Also, I've tried going back a couple of versions with the same results.

I ended up moving HDHR-DVRUI to a new computer. I was using a version of XAMPP with 514 and it worked. With the new computer, I couldn't get it work so I tried different versions of XAMPP with different version of HDHR-DVRUI and finally got XAMPP ver 7.1.26-0-VC14 working with HDHR-DVRUI Ver 063. I still have one issue. When I schedule a show to record, I get a pop up error:

192.168.0.75 says
Missing behavior or php-error:<br />
<b> Notice</b>: Undefined index: Version in <b>C:

If I try to use the latest version, I get this error when starting:

Let me know if I can do anything.

Thanks.

First,
Apologies to @handyd and @lunar
I've been really busy at work, and all my free time that I dedicate to these has been focused on major updates to the DVR managers. Now done, so I get to focus on this for a little while.

This is the issues found by @airdrummer
Is fixed in the github, and will be in the next release

This is a strange one.
Can you check the vars.php file in your installed folder. It should have a line similar to

Code: Select all

const DVRUI_DEBUG = false;
If not - then something went wrong when it should have created that file :(

500 is basically the web server can't serve the requested resource (file or URL) to your browser.
So something is up with either permissions or bad install.
Make sure your webserver has read access to everything in the install folder
AND has write access to the themes folder
AND has ownership/write access of the themes/default/style.css

there are other possibilities such as external URLs being blocked..
try opening the diagnostics page directly
http://192.168.1.6/hdhr/diagnostics.php

FWIW - will be focusing on this for next few days to get all known fixes in, add container recipe, add list/tiles option on recordings, etc.

I noticed on version 0.6.4 the times in the recent recordings section of the dashboard are UTC instead of local. Local time is displayed in all other sections of the DVRUI.

Thank you.

I didn't have that line in my VARs file. I added it in and now 65 is working fine. I have been copying the vars file from previous installs since it included the correct time zone. I'll check the new VAR files from now on to make sure nothing else was added.

Currently I have Version 0.6.5 running on my Qnap NAS.

I'd like to install Version 0.5.14 on the same NAS. Can anyone help? I'm not sure which folder to put it in.

I tried to reply but cloudflare is blocking me. I guess it thinks me typing out a web server folder location is an attack.

you just need to copy/move the folder in /share/Web to whatever you want..
If you install with QPKGs it will only report the last one installed.. but perfectly doable.
The best way though is to install git on the QNAP. then use git clone to pull down the repo into folder you want under /share/Web

Are there issues going on with the backend or is it just me? I was on HDHomeRun DVR UI and noticed every upcoming shows show:
Air Date: Wed Dec/31 1969

I just want to make sure my recordings will still happen since most are scheduled for recent only.

This has been broken for quite a while. There is no need worry about future recordings, those are completely handled by the SD back end. The DVR UI is just a way to visualize things.

Is this on the new UI or the old UI?

Neither, it's the external HDHR-DVRUI web based stuff.

Someone is not checking for the unix epoch zero date (and special casing it as "NULL"/"None"/NaN depending on your persuasion). This should probably be posted in the Third Party Software section, under the HDHR-DVRUI topic.
