I have a Sony Android TV and I used to run the HdHomeRun app directly on my TV to watch live and recorded shows. But recently the audio goes out of sync with the video very often in the app so I've been trying alternate methods. Now I installed Kodi on my TV and installed the HdHomeRun addon and everything is working well except for one thing. If I start watching a recorded show and stop it and then go back to watching the show - the show starts from the beginning and not from the point I left off. Is there a setting that will resume from where I left off?

I am having the same issue with the Kodi addon, I cannot find a way to resume. I verified that my settings within Kodi are correct by creating an advancedsettings.xml file and starting a show from Files versus the Kodi addon. After a few minutes of viewing, I stopped the show and immediately noted the "Play" icon next to the file. Choosing the file prompts for resume from option. Using Kodi, the only options I get are watch or delete no resume. On my phone I get a resume option from the HDHomeRun app. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The official kodi add-on was made long before resume features were implemented with only a couple of "emergency" updates since (they originally used a "test server" url that would no longer resolve, and they did a fix to help with a later version of kodi)
