I've tried to clear the data. Same result. No channel logo's in Kodi from the HDHomerun backend. You mention giving Kodi the URL's? How do you do that?
Are you looking the Channels area or the EPG? Just wondering, I think channel logos in the EPG are a separate thing. I only see channel logos in "Channels" and for things like the Recently Played tiles. In the EPG I only see the channel numbers and names; I think this is the default behavior.

As for the URLs, SiliconDust provides them as part of the guide data. When you give Kodi the channel list it gives you a way to specify the URL of the channel logo; same for the program thumbnail you see in the EPG. All the PVR client has to do is pass that information on, the magic as it were all takes place in Kodi.

If you see channel logos anywhere, then the data from SiliconDust is good. If you don't get them anywhere at all, perhaps they are missing in the guide data. We can walk through checking that if you'd like, it involves a few steps and some copy/pasting, but it's not too terrible.

You get channel logos in the EPG with the Confluence skin but not Estuary.

Not in my case. On my Win10 machine running Kodi 17.3 and the skin is Estuary. I get both fanart and when there is no fanart the logo's . Fanart and logos's (when no fanrart) in full EPG. Logos's in all channels and mini guide.

Running the Android 16.1 Jarvis version with Confluence, no logo's, just the fanart in all guides/all channels.

Maybe it's something they added in Krypton?

Is there any way to disable the record timer notifications? I have them disabled in settings/PVR & Live TV/Recording "Display a notification on timer updates" and yet i still see the timer notifications for some reason

Absolutely. They haven't been tested even a single time, but here ya go! I added the Linux zips to the 1.2.2 release (they were still on my local drive). Let me know if they work, OK?

That always does it for me and it's the only way I am aware of to stop it. The PVR client isn't raising those notifications, Kodi is. As of 1.2.0 the client isn't raising any notifications at all on it's own (older versions had one when you turned on "Enable streaming directly from tuner device(s)", but that became unnecessary.

You see them even after restarting Kodi? I know turning it off won't stop pending notifications that are already queued up, but I've never run into it not working at all. Unfortunately, this one would be a question for Team Kodi :(

Question from the old thread ...

Hi guys;

This is off topic but hopefully someone can help. What version of the app would work on my Solid run CUBox i4x4? (freescale i.MX6)

Thanks
Looks like you have an ARM Cortex-A9, which is a 32-bit ARM CPU. There are 2 choices, I don't know which one will be right for you, it depends on the Operating System.

Assuming the machine is running some GNU Linux-based OS, you'd want to try the "linux-armel" and "linux-armhf" variants. Try "linux-armel" first, I'm pretty sure that's the more common version. Guessing you are running Krypton?

At the download page (https://github.com/djp952/pvr.hdhomerun ... /Downloads), go all the way to the bottom and look for these entries. Not sure why I never listed them under "GNU Linux", but that's easily rectified!

17.x "Krypton" | Linux armel | 1.2.2
17.x "Krypton" | Linux armhf | 1.2.2

In my Kodi 17.3 Win10 rig, I get either fanart OR the channel logo (when there is no fanart) where the large "3" is in the bottom corner of the Estuary image. I have NO channel logo next to the channel names.

In my Kodi 16.1 Android TV x86 rig, I get only fanart (when present) where the large "3" is in the bottom corner of the Confluence image. I have NO channel logo next to the channel names.

Apparently when I did my last update of the apk it turned that setting back on by default... Turned it off and the notifications went away.

Note the large 3 in the lower left corner isn't a channel logo. That's just the show poster for the news program that was on at the time. I never see a channel logo in the lower left corner.

I have these three settings enabled:

System> Settings> PVR & Live TV> General
Synchronise channel groups with backend(s)
Use channel order from backend(s)
Use channel numbers from backend

Maybe one of those settings is causing it to pull in the logos in Confluence?

Just wanted to say thanks to DJP for this addon. I've been wanting to switch to HDHomeRun for years and I've finally done it :D Thanks to this incredible addon I have all the same functionality I'm used to plus a ton more features and I'm no longer saddled by the yoke of big cable and their onerous box rental fees. HDHomeRun + KODI is a big win!

I do have one question, anyone have any suggestions for a remote control that I can use with ShieldTV and MiBoxes that has numbers on it? Trying to make this as easy as possible for the wife.

This remote works with the Shield among other devices. You have to be careful though as the new non pro shields no longer have IR... If you have a 2015 Shield you should be alright with IR remotes.
