In addition to our normal Privacy Policy found here: http://www.silicondust.com/privacy/

Updates:
To participate in the Progress Release program you will need to keep up with installing new releases as they become available. In some cases updates may be downloaded and installed automatically. An older release is not expected to continue to function and will not be supported once a newer release is out.

Service Outages:
We will try to minimize service outages however we make no guarantee of service or speed of service during the Progress Release program. For example:
1) It may sometimes be necessary to do planned or unplanned maintenance that will take some or all services offline. Typically planned maintenance will be scheduled weekdays between 9am and 11am Pacific time.
2) The Progress Release program will be the first real-world high volume load of the new DVR services on our servers. Slowdown during peak times is possible as we adapt to real-world load.

Guide data and images:
Guide data and/or images may not be used outside of Silicondust software without written agreement.
Please contact info@silicondust.com if you would like to write a client app that works with the HDHomeRun DVR system and makes use of Silicondust guide data and/or images.
Images must not be archived or stored. Images may be cached following the cache duration and rules in the HTTP header.

Privacy - Diagnostic information
For the duration of the Progress Release program the HDHomeRun RECORD engine WILL send diagnostic information to Silicondust support servers to aid tech support. This feature is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. The diagnostic information includes detailed information regarding the operation of the HDHomeRun RECORD engine. The same diagnostic information is logged to log files in the record directory.

The diagnostic information is available to Silicondust support staff and may be kept for up to 2 months before being purged from the server.

Privacy - Suggestion feedback & Recording rules:
The suggestion feedback and recording rules are managed/stored on Silicondust servers.
This information is used by Silicondust servers to generate data sent to the client and record engine for the operation of DVR features.

Suggestion feedback and recording rules are stored without expiry as long as an active account is maintained.

Third parties:
Silicondust provides anonymous channel scan information that has been collected from HDHomeRun devices to FYI Television for the purpose of improving TV guide data for HDHomeRun customers. More detailed information may be provided to FYI Television if a guide complaint or correction-request is filed by a customer.
