I'm running kodi 18.8 on win10, and installed the latest HDHomeRun from github. The official standalone HDHR client on win10 works perfectly. But trying to run the HDHR add-on in kodi gives me the error message "maybe all tuners are in use".
My device is an older dual model.
Anyone know where I can start on troubleshooting?
The following is what I pulled from the log file.

The Kodi add-on won't support the older DUAL models. It might be possible if the older HDHomeRun protocol ever gets added back to Kodi as a binary add-on, but in its current form, Kodi doesn't support the protocol used by the DUALs.
Are the latest devices the only ones supported by the latest kodi? Will they be rendered useless by future kodi updates as well?
Generations 1 and 2, and OTA gen 3, only support an older API. These models are known as the DUAL models (as well as a single tuner version of gen 1/2). Cable gen 3, OTA gen 4, and gen 5, use an http-based API that virtually everything supports, and doesn't even need HDHomeRun-specific support.
