I tried this on both my OSMC device and on my FireTV Stick. Over two hours now and no gujide data shows up on either device. If I use the HDHOMERun app on windows, I can see all the guide data (more than 2 days out), so I don't think that it is an authorization problem. Just now I cleared the guide data again (9:35 PM EDT) and still no guide data....all blank. Logs can be found at https://paste.osmc.tv/uvoyeyosak

OK, I see the error in the log:

try_getepgforchannel failed due to an exception: no such table: deviceauth (1)

The weird thing is that there is no more 'deviceauth' table anywhere, prior to v2 that was a Common Table Expression (CTE). The "EPG" virtual table has a column named deviceauth, but that's a column not a table. All the authorizations are fine as you surmised.

This is quite weird, it's like it's using the old code for the "EPG" table, which should be impossible. If it was truly broken, it would have never worked at all. Happening on 2 different devices all of a sudden is even weirder. Are you doing any database/state sharing with Kodi, or are they both set up default, each Kodi instance uses it's own device?

I'll dig the Pi out and install OSMC. My FireTV stick is happy as a lark, I just checked in on that.

Folks, there is a critical defect in the Krypton and Jarvis builds of v2.0.0 that needs to be corrected. All Krypton and Jarvis v2.0.0 builds will not be able to load new EPG data. Some users, like ddejager, have already found this out

I'll try to get v2.0.1 for Krypton and Jarvis out tonight. It's a simple fix.

Unit Testing basic functionality on prior Kodi baselines is like so last week ....

Not much to say here other than "I screwed up again". I failed to test the EPG functions on Jarvis and Krypton (all platforms), and there ended up being a code merge error that will be preventing your EPG data from loading at all. I did update the source Universal Windows (UWP) .APPX files for Leia, but that doesn't count for a changelog entry, so "Version number consistency build" is how I decided to justify the change on Leia.

Given that there were no actual changes involved for Leia, I will probably not change the auto-update repository for at least a few days. v2.0.1 on Leia is literally the exact same code as v2.0.0.

I just booted a live USB with LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0.1 and it worked fine. I have no idea why it isn't working for you.

Hi! Can you provide any information like the kodi log file? It will probably be incomplete since Kodi is crashing, but there may be a clue in there for me. If there is any type of Kodi crash dump file (same directory as log file), I can see if I can use that too. LibreELEC is a little harder than regular desktop Linux in this regard, on desktop Linux you can run kodi from a Terminal window and get console output when things like this occur.

I have an Intel NUC running that exact version of LibreELEC as well, and haven't seen anything out of the ordinary.

One thing you can try, if you can keep Kodi running long enough, is to go into Settings -> PVR & Live TV -> Guide and select "Clear Data". That nukes the Kodi EPG database. You can also try disconnecting it from the network to ensure that you get the time required to disable the PVR or perform operations like this -- can't load EPG with no network!

FYI for everyone, I saw the "guide entries are scrambled" concern on Leia today that has been mentioned a couple times. 18.1 and 18.2 RC1.

I can tell you that it's not the PVR or bad data from the backend services, here my channels are being shifted down by one in the EPG if Kodi is left running on the EPG for a long period of time. I didn't have Kodi debug logging enabled on any systems, so I can't report it to them yet. I will turn on debug logging and leave a system running overnight in the hopes of catching it again.

The data in the Kodi database appears to be fine, I believe this is an EPG UI issue since the main "TV" screen with the recently played channels has the correct EPG information for the current program on those channels. If there was a data concern it would be wrong everywhere.

Restarting Kodi solves the problem for me immediately. No need to clear Guide data or take any other action.

Is there a repo file that can get installed in KODI that will keep the PVR addon up-to-date? Or is there a way to automatically update the addon that I am not aware of?
