My clock is correct with the pvr guide however when I go to a channel to watch live TV it's is not a correct time on the progress bar. Hope that is of some help.

Would it be possible to get a screen shot of this? Kodi actually takes care of the progress bar time and gets that information from the EPG. The view of Live TV playing with the progress bar(s) and the clock in the upper right would be ideal.

For Live TV, when you start the channel that is time "0". Using the system clock I tell Kodi as it goes along how many microseconds have elapsed since time "0". It's not like recorded TV where I have to give it real times to work from. If there is no EPG data for that channel, Kodi will show the progress as the number of seconds since you started the stream.

More simply, Live TV progress goes from 0->N seconds, where 0 is when you started it and N is the number of seconds that you've been watching it. The actual clock time has little to do with it, but the clock itself is used to know what N is at any given moment (I may have said otherwise before, sorry).

This was all much easier in Kodi Krypton ;)

I see "Kodi 18.0 Git:20190128-d81c34c", which matches the date and commit that the Leia PVR is built against.
I've got "Kodi 18.0 Git:20190128-d81c34c" installed which seems to match what you're seeing. However I just pushed your new update to my system and it fails again. I've tried removing it and reinstall - same thing - it fails.
The only error message I get is:
"Add-on couldn't be loaded. An unknown error has occurred"

That error is most likely using the wrong build of the PVR for your architecture. Like installing an ARM64 build on an ARM device. This is relatively common for the GNU Linux variants. The Kodi log will provide more details here, I think it will say something like 'unable to load' and give the .dll or .so module name.

What hardware and Operating System are you using?

Nvidia Shield. I'm using your ARM Leia package. It's the same thing I installed on there before they started pushing out Kodi updates. In other words it installed fine on the first release of Kodi 18 along with your first release of the plug-in.

Now since the update to both, I get that error.

Well that's crazy because pre-Leia I was installing the regular ARM .apk on the Shield.

Try a clear data in the Guide settings. I had to correct a mistake with the channel broadcast IDs. It didn't cause my devices any grief but could be the root here. Nothing in the log from the PVR looks abnormal. I'd have to dig into Kodi to see the source of the channel not found (and I'm out at the moment)

I finally got guide data for my Cable Channels but not OTA might not be your problem but a Silicondust server problem.

Still no guide data for OTA even though I have it in the HDHOmeRun APP … could it be that it is failing in getting guide data for channels with a period for Ex 2.1 , 2.2 etc .. ?

Very well could be! That's a great observation. Forgive the mild cursing but dammit will I ever actually test everything before letting something rip? UGH. I ran this code through everything ... except that. You know that's what it is I set the stupid channel up as an integer it need to be a string. DRAT.

Let me hook up my ota tuner and fix this.

The auto updates seemed like such a good idea until right now. Borking everyone!

It's fixed. Working on pushing out a 1.3.12 now. It takes a couple hours to put together. Once it's ready I'll pull 1.3.11 out of the auto-update list for Windows, Android and OS/X as well. I'll leave 1.3.9 and 1.3.10 as available rollbacks.

NYPlayer - THANK YOU

Everyone else - THANK YOU as well for your patience. I've said it before and I'll say it again -- if you're going to fail you may as well fail epically!!

Besides, I said it would be faster, I never said it would actually show you any data :D

Somebody queue up Sonny & Cher, 'cause it's still Groundhog Day and we're doing it again!

Version 1.3.12 (2019.02.02)
  • Fix bug introduced in v1.3.11 that prevented EPG listings for channels with subchannels (x.x) from loading
Downloads:
Kodi 16 "Jarvis" : https://github.com/djp952/pvr.hdhomerun ... odi-Jarvis
Kodi 17 "Krypton" : https://github.com/djp952/pvr.hdhomerun ... di-Krypton
Kodi 18 "Leia" : https://github.com/djp952/pvr.hdhomerun ... -Kodi-Leia

LEIA USERS: THIS PVR VERSION REQUIRES LEIA "18.0" FINAL. IT WILL NOT INSTALL ON RC5.2 OR EARLIER.

My bad gang. The new EPG code was converting the channel numbers into an integer (whole number) instead of a string (text) like it used to, which messed up the ability to load data for channels with subchannels (like "45.1").

I have a couple cautions here. Your missing channels aren't likely to show up in the EPG until you bounce Kodi. When you restart it, it should re-query the PVR and load them up for you. The second caution is that on my FireStick, it auto-updated while it was in the middle of loading EPG data and locked up Kodi on me. This messed up the Kodi EPG database, I lost a number of channels completely. To fix this I had to Clear Data from Settings / PVR & Live TV / Guide. When it reloaded, my missing channels all came back.

Honestly after seeing the auto-update stuff in action for 2 builds now, I'm not sold on it. It gives you zero notification that is happened, it just messed up my FireStick because it did it at a very bad time, and on my Android phone it wouldn't show new builds at all until I uninstalled and reinstalled 1.13.10. YMMV, but I would appreciate your feedback on this if you're on Windows, Android, or OS/X and have the PVR set to auto-update. It could be Leia glitches since updates for binary addons are new, but I'm fine with taking the repository offline for a while if this becomes annoying or problematic for you guys.

Have a great evening!

"People say that we don't know - what love is or how to make it grow - well, I don't know if all that's true - 'cause you got me and baby, I got you …." <-- Sorry, I just couldn't help myself there.

I have add-on updates set to manual but I did get a PVR update notification on my HTPC last night (Win7 64, Kodi 18.0). I went to add-ons and updated the PVR from 1.3.10 to 1.3.12. The update completed successfully but while the new PVR version was starting up Kodi froze. I had to get my keyboard out so I could hit ctrl+alt+del to bring up task manager and kill Kodi. When I started Kodi again the PVR started normally and everything was working correctly.
