PseudoTV Live Kodi Add-on Autotune Demo

This is about as close as you can get to your standard set-top box emulator.

Here is a demo video posted yesterday of the HDHomerun detection and auto-tune.

If you do not have the DVR purchased from silicondust.com/shop you get 4hrs of guide data standard. With the DVR purchased you get 3 days of data.

There are themes that you can apply and tweak. Very powerful add-on. can tweak to your hearts content.

Where can I find current written instructions on how to install it? I tried following instructions from "Mr Dumbass" on the Kodi forum but that appears to be out of date. One of the required plugins is only available on a blacklisted repo and I refuse to install anything from that source.

Everything should install automatically via the kodi repo or the lunatixz repo.

It plays live TV but I can't make it tune the channel I want to watch and I can't find a guide anywhere. If I don't get frustrated with it before I figure out how to use it maybe it'll be worthwhile, but my experience so far hasn't been a good one. It sure looks pretty in that video though.

Pretty much the same here though a different sort of problem. Most of the parts such as Library and Companion (can't recall what they are called exactly) install ok but when I try to install the TV portion, Kodi crashes. I tried this on 3 different machines with no luck past that point.
I've not looked at the logs yet but what logs would you want to go thru to see what the problem is?

Thanks for the link. I wonder if the fact that all 3 of the boxes I've tried this on were running the new Kodi 17 latest beta. I'm pretty sure others have it working on 17 but maybe I need to get one of the nightly builds and try it on that version.

Thanks. That is helpful but some of the options in the settings menus are different on mine. Maybe it has been updated since you made the video.
