Windows 10 app simply crashes

Post by yourpalfranc »

I just installed Windows app 202010206 and it simply crashes when I tune to an ATSC 3.0 station. What should I be looking for?

Let's get some data about the GPU on your PC:
  1. Open the HDHomeRun app
  2. Go into the app settings: the gear icon in the top right corner of the "Live/Recorded/Discover/Tasks" page
  3. Enable the option to "Send diagnostic information"
  4. Attempt to watch an ATSC 3.0 channel
Reply back to this post and provide us the device ID of your HDHomeRun and we will check the logs. You can find the device ID at the top of the my.hdhomerun.com web page as well as on a label on the bottom of the HDHomeRun itself.

Thanks for the reply. I've enabled send diagnostics and device ID is 1080A1C1

I can watch other channels if after starting the Windows app after a crash I change quickly away from an ATSC 3.0 station.
