Have you tried to manually download new software for the Sony?
Also, the Sony is particular about packet timings within the stream. For instance, CC being late. Although it would seem strange that all of those streams listed are wonky.
Regardless, that model of Sony works fine in Phoenix.

I have tried the manual downloads of whatever content Sony has queued up but nothing other than that. When trying to use the 4K tuner in the X900H, the results are the same. When an ATSC 3.0 channel is selected, it tries for a bit (spinning circle) and then gives up (black screen).

Good to know this works in Phoenix. This could well be a local issue.

Now that it is mid July I have some questions concerning the Columbus market.
1) Has channel WSYX 106.1 started broadcasting in ATSC3.0? Sinclair had announced that they were upgrading their signal but no one has listed them as being received.
2) Are you still unable to tune any of the Columbus ATSC 3.0 broadcasts on your Sony X900H TV?

I was contemplating buying a new Sony TV to test out the ATAC 3.0 tuner but I have not found any good news. I am starting to think that Nextgen TV may go the way of HD radio or 3D TV.

HD Radio hasn't gone anywhere. It's just not flying off shelves so to speak, because it's per-installed into nearly every new car.

Whether HD radio is prospering or slowly dying depends on which article you read. Here is an article that gives both views. https://www.lifewire.com/death-of-hd-radio-534505
