MacBook Air / 20201119 Release (now 20201216 Release)

Watching Fox 12.1 (ATSC 3.0) on my MacBook Air 2018 this evening, noticed the new release when I first started the app, and there's no audio for the announcer track (center channel?). I believe I have reported this issue before. Please fix, thank you!

You should get a short recording of the stream, upload it to Google Drive/Dropbox/whatever and send a link to SD's support team so they can look at it and determine if it really is an app problem or if the station is messing something up.

I'm not a DVR customer so I'm not sure how I could go about recording this when it happens. I think I forgot to mention it's happen on FOX during NFL games; I do not have this particular audio issue with the Channels app on the AppleTV for what it's worth...

This is issue still is not resolved with the 20201216 release for macOS on my MacBook Air (2018). Similarly, I never received any kind of acknowledgement that the uploaded sample files were reviewed or that this issue is being worked on.

Tuning into the Northwestern vs Ohio State NCAA College game on 12.1 (FOX / Portland) and still no announcer (center?) channel. Is there an ETA as to when this might be fixed?

Sorry, I forgot to reply to this thread before. The audio channel mapping bug appears to be affecting multiple platforms and is high on our priority list.

I'm a fellow Mac user myself with a 2019 Macbook Pro. I'll make sure they don't forget us ;)
