Woohoo, darcilicious to the rescue! That did the trick, I'm now on the 1030 firmware.

Immediately after applying the firmware, I noticed the system said 54 channels and nothing was tagged HVEC. So, I rescanned the channels, and the HVEC channels popped up, and I'm back to 50 channels, again.

So here's where I'm at:

• New firmware 1030 has corrected the problem tuning in to Physical channel 30.
• There continues to be a problem picking up Physical channel 11, home to 17.1, 27.1, 37.1, and 3.1. The QUATRO 4K seems to be more sensitive to the "Symbol Quality" of the stations on this channel, which is usually at 100% under Config GUI but sometimes fluctuates (observing the older CONNECT tuner). The QUATRO 4K always lists the Symbol Quality at 0%.
• The 1030 firmware is unable to lock onto Physical channel 33. It says "auto:33" and sits there, with the Program field remaining blank. This channel hosts 2.1, 6.1, and 32.1 in ATSC3 (and the video stopped working on these channels around the same time as the change that affected Physical channel 30, curiously.)

I updated my connect, but I am reluctant to do a rescan of the channels since right now with only the ATSC 1.0 channels all my apps work. I think some of the apps still don't support the 3.0 streams (fireTV, IOS, etc). I am going to hold of doing a rescan until I know those all support the 3.0 streams.

I just reconnected my 4K, upgraded firmware, and rescanned. 2.1, 6.1, 8.1, 10.1, 12.1, 32.1, and 49.1 all show up as HEVC, and I've verified all are tuning the ATSC3 stream using the HDHR app on my LG CX. Video and audio appear to be working well on all of them for me. I'm in St. Johns, and I see 100% across the board for Signal Strength, Signal Quality, and Symbol Quality on every ATSC3 channel.

I am getting an occasion tuning failure on 12.1 and 49.1. I get a black screen, and checking tuner status I see nothing is tuned. If I select a different channel, and then go back it usually tunes successfully.

Have you verified that you're actually tuning ATSC 3.0 on channels 2.1 / 6.1 / 32.1 by checking the tuner status? I ask because no matter what I do, those three channels tune via tuner 2 or tuner 3 on the CONNECT 4K... (meaning they're tuning the ATSC 1.0 broadcast)

Yes, I said in my post that I verified all were tuning ATSC3.

I appear to be able to tune into every ATSC 3.0 channel with the Mac app, but I have no audio on any of those channels. Other channels have audio. I just downloaded the newest Mac app so everything is up to date.

EDITED: Argh, I rechecked the channel lineup and noticed that 2.1/6.1/32.1 weren't showing up as HEVC; rescanned again (like someone above mentioned, was that you) and now everything is just fine. Long week. Glad it's the weekend!

Upgraded to latest firmware tonight: HDHR5-4K FW 20201030, Windows10 build 19041, HDHomeRun app ver 20201029
Rescanned, now see all 7 HEVC channels listed in channel lineup

Sample viewing channels 2.1, 10.1, 6.1, 8.1, playback has both video & audio but
still seeing A/V pauses every 1-2 minutes until picture completely freeze after 6 minutes

The 3 channels on Physical 33 regained their HVEC tags without me even needing to rescan, and the Physical channel 11 stations are now showing up too. Mysterious! But things are looking good now.

Just as a comment, KOXO RFch.15 returned to the air with its ATSC3 signal a week or two ago. However, it's at a much reduced power.

But I don't pick it up at all...

Yes, that post is why I asked. Linley lacks an ATSC 3.0 receiver, so he's just seeing it with a spectrum analyzer. I want to know if anyone is actually receiving it and decoding it.

I get about a 40% signal strength with no lock. I have a direct line of site and according to RabbitEars I'm 16 miles from the transmitter. My antenna is in our attic but on all the other ATSC 3.0 stations I get 100% signal.
