New Blue Theme ... like it

Post by EddieP »

I like the new blue theme ... it Looks great but I prefer a solid background. But it does look good.

Text is also easier to read good job.

Busy is the correct word for the background.

I agree still too busy but the new color is a big improvement. Anything but the old puke green original Xbox color thanks. Will the app logo be changing colors too?

SiliconDust nailed it on the new color and background. It's upbeat and snazzy!

I prefer the moving background and I don't understand the folks complaining about the background being "too busy." Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it, everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, taking time to complain about a background, at least in my opinion, seems pretty low on the list.

At first I didn't care if the background was moving or not, but once it, and even briefly the non-moving one, started to bleed into menu items and even live tv, I found myself wanting absolutely no background.

I love it. Blue looks waaaaay better, to say the least. One thing: can you make the right of the progress bar so it's white? or Black? ...just not blue. The shades are way too close to each other.

Thank you for changing UI color. Wtf took so long? Nevertheless, keep up the improvements.

I got an email today touting the "dramatic re-design" of the UI, apparently referring to the change to blue  .

Yeah, I got that too. I will say that I like the new theme much better than the old green one. One of the other supposedly dramatic changes was in scrolling through slice view? I still don't see it keeping up, I've tried it in Windows 7 (wired connection), Windows 10 (wired connection), and on my Android phone (wi-fi), and it still seems as slow as ever. Thumbnails? Terrible design idea.

WMC+EPG123 is still the only real option for me.

Agreed. A big thank you to SD for removing the animation. The new color scheme is nice too.
Unfortunately, the background pattern bleeds through the listings. If they could remove the bleed, I could live with the background pattern; though I would prefer no background.

I noticed that a few things got missed with the switch to blue. When setting up a new series recording the padding options window, all or recent selection window and final confirmation window are all green still.
