Prime 6 prototype
I just saw Ted's interview with Lon. He said that he has a prototype prime 6 in his home. If it is good enough for his family, then it is good enough for mine. WE CAN HANDLE BUGS. I am ok with spending extra on a pre-release model. Please let me purchase this.

Re: Prime 6 prototype
While the enthusiasm is certainly appreciated, that's not really how prototypes work. This is a model that was custom built with a case that was likely 3D printed. If we tried to sell it this way, we'd lose hundreds of dollars on every device. Part of going into production means figuring out how to most efficiently produce the hardware so we don't go out of business after selling a few.
Needless to say, at this point getting the Prime 6 to production is about as high priority as we can make it.

You must not pay attention. One of the biggest hurdles to the cable card hardware is getting approval from Cable Labs or risk incurring large fines. So, they can't sell you something that hasn't been approved for sale.Nateb, Like I said, I am happy to pay more for a pre-release. Please give me a price.

In that case, How about, I pay to become a intern where my job is to test the prime 6.
