Anyone know what's up with the Quatro ATSC1 Products?
I resell these to new OTA cord cutting customers and I have found that the entire online retail channel for Quatro has dried up, unless you want the Connect Quatro 4K.
There are no Scribe Quatro or Connect Quatro to be had.
Recently I have had to resort to purchasing SDs refurbed products from the SD store.
My fear is that these devices are being eliminated and replaced by the Connect 4K (ATSC1/3) devices at a higher retail price and are not yet ready for prime time.
It appears that the Connect Quatro4K is now being paired with the Servio at a price of $329.99, on the SD store page. The Scribe Quatro used to retail at $224.99. This is not a convenient option at ninety dollars more another power brick and another ethernet port.
So back to my question, does anyone know what's up?

Re: Quatro ATSC1 Product availability
Nick,
What is the projected timeline for the release for newly updated Scribe Quatro 4K?
Are there plans to upgrade the other tuner set to 4K, so that all will be (NextGenTV)?
Are there plans to upgrade the DUO product line be upgraded to 4K?
Re: Quatro ATSC1 Product availability
Nick,
Will the Family Product line brochure be updated to reflect the changes? Currently the 4k does not even have a GIF on the page.

Re: Quatro ATSC1 Product availability
Considering there are no ATSC 3.0 OTA broadcasts in the USA right now to my knowledge, seems a bit premature. I get it's a great-to-have when 4k is available but come one, replacing the Quatro with it at a $50 higher price point is nothing but a money grab.

A number of regions have ATSC 3.0 today, with announced plans in 62 markets covering 75% of US viewers.ExtremeTM wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:01 am Considering there are no ATSC 3.0 OTA broadcasts in the USA right now to my knowledge, seems a bit premature.
