I am curious how the EXTEND can stream TV when the original use of it was to use it for an Antenna source and output the two internal tuners signal to the LAN network. How/why are the Prime TV channels linked to each tuner? or are they? Can i tune in two channels and also stream a live TV channel? Also, why doesn't PrimeTV work with an HomeRunPrime device? I am confused how this all works.

Re: Curious about how the Streaming Service works with the EXTEND
Hi,
With the most recent firmware upgrade each video processing path in EXTEND can be fed by the associated tuner or by the HDHomeRun Premium TV service delivered via your internet connection.
You can watch/record two things at once, where those two things can be any mix of ATSC or HDHomeRun Premium TV content.
The PRIME is a different product governed by FCC and CableLabs conditional access rules.
