Guide Issues - A&E

Postby Wildcat_1 » Sat Nov 17, 2018 10:40 am

Anyone else seeing these ? Was recording A&E Live PD last night and I setup roll call but instead it recorded PD Cam, then the Mini Pod episode that was on this morning (11/17) recorded something completely different. The main show i.e. the 3 hours Live PD live show on Friday worked fine but not sure why these others are not recording properly.

Any thoughts on this one ? Everything else has been working fine except for some of the quality issues on channels such as Hallmark (any update on those ?)

Thanks

Quick update. Just tuned into 1402 (A&E) and You Can't Turn That Into a House is meant to be on, instead Live PD is on ! Therefore not sure what has changed with this and where the issue lies. Any help is appreciated

Another update, looks like although I'm set for PT guide (using Channels DVR) I am seeing ET feeds on A&E today. Not sure what is causing this but only just started happening the past day or so. Anyone else seeing this and know how to correct ?

@nickk or others at SD any change on the SD Premium TV side ?

Thanks for your help with this

Odd - I am not seeing a problem with A&E timezones here.

Will investigate further.

Hey @nickk thanks for the reply. Yes A&E is impacted too as I mentioned in the East vs West thread so seems the upstream provider change is impacting this channel as well

Ok, you are in Central which means the Eastern lineup.

The channel authorization and the guide is set to Eastern.

Guide - if you compare the guide from HDHomeRun Setup with http://zap2it.com/ set to your zipcode do they match?

@Nickk

I am actually in MT so have been using PT when aligning to channels DVr etc. My guide for A&E does not match as my guide shows PT and the show that is currently on maps to the ET guide on zap2it

I forced your account over to Pacific. Please reboot the HDHomeRun so it picks up the new channel lineup.

@nickk for my reference should I be using PT or something different due to MT ? When I use other services such as DTV Now it’s usually aligned to ET. Is that something that I would want to switch to when you update to ET feeds on each channel ?

In Mountain time locations A&E follows Pacific time.

@nickk thanks so I should continue to use PST when using premium TV ? Any idea what was going on as this was working fine up until about a day ago ?

HDHR rebooted anything else for me to do on it ?

@nickk when other feeds get updated to ET will it be possible to align that way ? The reason I ask is when I watch A&E on DTV Now, those live shows are aligned against ET vs PT. Trying to find a way to watch and emulate that through Premium TV where possible. Just think ahead. Thanks for any input and your help with above

Feed Changes Again ?

Postby Wildcat_1 » Fri Nov 30, 2018 9:55 pm

@Nickk / all, seeing an issue again tonight where A&E should be showing Live PD Rewind right now but instead is showing the actual live show. Based on PST feed the live show would not start for another 5 minutes. Have the upstream feeds changed again ?

Anyone else seeing this issue ?

Thanks as always
