Speed of switching channels

Can someone who subscribes to the service please comment on the speed of switching channels? How fast is it? I was a DirectTV Now subscriber but it took 7-10 seconds to switch channels. Then one day I woke up and all my local channels were from Hawaii (I live in Oklahoma). Feed up with their growing pains I switched to Playstation Vue. For the most part I'm happy because it does change channels very fast (1-2 seconds). If SD's premium service is comparable in performance I'd consider giving the trail a go. It has all the channels on my "must" list.

Premium channels switch fast with the Hdhomerun apps same as OTA under 2 seconds or less most times.
