Some users who haven't updated the firmware somewhat recently might find that the HDHomeRun app stops working with live TV. If you've already tried updating the HDHomeRun app and it still doesn't work, look to see if you have a firmware update available: https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/update
After the firmware update is complete, then do a fresh channel scan (normally isn't needed, but if you get a "tune failed" message then a fresh channel scan will normally fix it. If not, please reach out to us
- Go to the http://my.hdhomerun.com/ site
- Click your HDHomeRun's device ID
- Click Channel Lineup
- Click on Detect Channels
Then see if the HDHomeRun app works after that.
