I've loaded HDHomerun on the Firestick and it's works flawlessly. However, the family likes Google Live Channels so I loaded it on the Firestick as well. Unlike on our Nvidia Shield, Google Live Channels does not populate the grid on a Firestick, only the channels numbers.
Before I have a full on family riot does anyone have any suggestions as to a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Just use the HDHomerun app on the Firestick. The Live Channels App is not certified for use on the FireSitck. It won't even load on my LG Android Phone "not certified for use on this device".

That's because the Live Channels app is designed for TV (LEANBACK_LAUNCHER) platforms only, so it doesn't have a LAUNCHER intent for phones or tablets.
The issue with Fire might be that Live Channels relies on some additional Google/Play/AndroidTV Service apks that aren't installed on Amazon devices. It might be as simple as sideloading those APKs too, or it might be more complicated if they're system level libraries that can only be installed by rooting.
