The system log shows the wrong time when HDHR plugged in. Am I missing something?
It is 11:30am Central time on Friday, February 19th and log says:
20210219-17:26:26 System: time changed from Thu Jan 1 00:00:26 1970 to Fri Feb 19 17:26:26 2021

Logs will always show UTC time. And today is Feb 19th, not 12th.
