Clip(s) won't play and UI issue on one device

I have a Scribe Duo and am using the HDHomeRun app on a Windows 10 Pro laptop for interface and playback.
Version 20210206 (App)/20201230e (UI) is the version information from the app settings.
Yesterday, the app suddenly stopped going completely full screen, i.e. the title/control bar at the top of the screen as well as the Windows taskbar at the bottom are no longer being hidden when I start the app. At the same time, I discovered that a program I recorded will not play back on this one same device. The program plays fine on a second Windows 10 Pro laptop as well as my LG Android phone. I have tried some troubleshooting basics (various combinations of uninstall/reinstall/reboot/restart), and I searched the forum prior to making this post but didn't find anything to address these two specific problems. Clearly something went West between the app and this one device. Any ideas?
