How to add a show not shown in Discover?

Hi, we want to add a show on 49.1 CT PBS on Sunday night at 9pm, but it is now showing up in Discover. How do I add an individual show to the DVR service? I also added to another post asking if there was an API which I can use to clean up (i.e. Delete) recordings so I don't run out of space. Really liking the SiliconDust units!
