TVision and Silicon Dust

Post by elabra »

With T-Mobile's announcement yesterday of their OTT product TVision I was wondering if Silicon Dust DVR service might be a good fit with it as a replacement for the short lived offering with added cable channel bundles? HDHomerun DVR Service for local/antenna channels plus TVision alongside to add cable/premium channels all using the same HDHR guide? Seems like a nice replacement for the discontinued offering from before. Any possibility for SD and T-Mobile to team up Nikk?

Not sure on the actual service, but the hardware they also introduced is Android TV-based, so at the very least you can use one device for both their streaming service and HDHomeRun viewing.

Any chance of SD partnering with TVision as a replacement for the old "premium TV" offering and as a way to bring premium channels into the same guide/recording infrastructure?
