Request for DRM recording status

I did some searching and it seems the last time DRM recording was mentioned was in February. Are there any updates to an expected release date? I only have a few channels that are protected but that doesn't excuse it from not working. Last I heard of any actual ETA, was before the end of 2019. I understand it's a complicated thing to get right.....I'd just like to know if it's coming at all. Now that you've started a new kickstarter with the quatro 4k... and mention that ATSC 3.0 has support for copy protected content, I'm worried I'll be unable to record regular broadcast tv in a few years.

Interesting. Wonder why that didn't show up in my search for "drm record". Maybe because it's in future product discussion ant not Live & DVR. At least they've stated it's "not as far off as it publicly seems" ... which can mean a multitude of different time frames depending on who you ask. At least I know it's still being worked on and planned for release.

thanks to all. Very enlightening information. I only see this once (early on boot before it auths. This is not new service (had the same service and card for 5 years). The service is xfinity in the seattle area.
