My last day

Post by jasonl » Sun Mar 15, 2020 2:29 pm

Today is my last day with Silicondust. I've accepted an offer to move on to another position in a different industry, and I leave you in the capable hands of Ned, Nate, and Nick. It's been quite a wild ride the last 11 years going from the old gen 2 Dual that was the current model when I joined, up through PRIME, the various CONNECT, EXTEND, and EXPAND models, the DVR, and so on. Silicondust has a lot of great new stuff in the pipeline and I think a lot of you will be excited to see it, so stay tuned.

All the best to you. Thanks for the support (and weekend work). You saved my sanity by helping me make my case to my cable provider to turn of copy protection on local channels. Hope you are moving to another one of my products to help with those support issues. Lots of companies need people like you.

Thanks all. You may still see me posting here from time to time if any interesting discussions come up, especially about the new stuff coming out once the guys announce it and I'm not breaking any confidentiality rules by sharing.

Late to the party, but I wanted to add my sincere thanks to you as well, Jason. Without your (and Nick, and Ned, and everyone at SD really) support and help, my little project would have never been able to work as well as it does. I've found SiliconDust to be a company worth trusting and "hitching one's wagon" to, and that has been in no small part attributed to you. Best wishes moving forward, and thank you.

If I was wearing a hat (which given my hair follicle count these I really should be, I can get a tan from a 60-watt bulb), it would be tipped.
