Issues on Win 10 Pro

Post by GGRussell » Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:38 pm

Was watching Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel and got error:
MF MEDIA ENGINE ERR DECODE: HRSULT 0XC00D3E84

Now all I get is Unable to play channel: timeout
Yet the same channel plays fine on Android

Have rebooted Windows. I need to record a show at 9!

Check the Microsoft store and see if it updated the HDHomeRun app yet. Updates are being pushed out with new DRM-keys.

You know the drill...turn on send diagnostic information on the HDHomeRun devices, run channel scans, turn on send diagnostic information in the app, reproduce the issue, reply back with the time it happened.

For some reason, the HDHomeRun Record firmware page doesn't work in any browser I tried - Firefox, Firefox nightly or Win Edge Dev based on Chrome.

Diagnostics is on now. Will post back if I see this error again.

The link is broken, but I'm not sure how to update it. I think we have to get help from the people who designed the web site (and the awesome work on our packaging) to see how to redirect it to the info.hdhomerun.com page that explains how to update DVR software. It's been bugging me for a while. The link has to be there because that's how you will trigger an update for DVRs on SCRIBE or SERVIO (just like normal HDHomeRun firmware), but for all other devices/platforms it doesn't work.

Both times have an error "invalid content range". I will pass this along to the developers.

So is this only when playing recordings or also on live TV? It looks like you tried to seek past the end of the recording.

Only on recordings and yes I was using fast forward until I get to the end. On occasions if it does go back to the record page, it shows up as if I had not watched the show at all.
