Sheild TV Pro recorded show playback issue

Just got one of the newest Sheild TV Pro devices. When playing back any show, things work fine for about 10 minutes and then the recorded show stops playing. If I go to restart the same recorded show, the words "audio only" appear on the screen for a split second and nothing starts playing. When this happens, I can not get any of the previously started shows to play. This also occurs on my Galaxy S9 where a previously started show wont start playing again. If I go to the same show on a WIN10 machine, all shows play fine, even the ones that have the "audio only" so seems to be on android devices. Anyone see this before? Anything I can try?

Did some further testing, XBOX One works fine as always with recorded shows.

Live TV on the Sheild works fine so far.

Tried changing the various display and audio settings on the Sheild to no avail.

Well, seem to have solved my own problem. Was on a 2.4ghz wireless network and not a 5ghz network. Once I switched, everything works as normal.

Glad you found the fix.

I have three of the 2019 SheildTV devices (the cylindrical tube design) and so far so good (working with an HDHomeRun Prime tuner and Servio DVR). Two are connected to Gigabit Ethernet and the third to a 802.11ac (5 GHz) WiFi and performance is great so far.

Yes it was odd that at first, the sheild could not find the prime or my dvr machine on either of my 2 5ghz wireless networks so i connected to the 2.4ghz network and it worked but had the above described issue. After all the things I tried and then switched to one of the 5ghz networks, it found the prime and dvr machine and just worked and all the issues went away. Really like this new sheild which is replacing an Xbox One.

With the non-Pro version the Shield TV connected to my 5 GHz WiFi network without any prompting and discovered the HDHomeRunPrime and Servio DVR devices on the network. Perhaps an issue with the Pro version or a strange glitch.

Seems I was a bit premature. Even though im able to connect intermittently, it is not stable and yet the xbox right next to it works perfectly. Not a signal strength issue, seems the new sheild pro is lacking in its 5ghz connectivity. I will keep looking for a solution. Opened a case with Nvidia as well.
