Hi Jason,

Confirming that update KB4519979 was the culprit. I uninstalled it and restarted the server, and now all clients can see the DVR (and all recordings were taking place in the interim, so I've got all of those as well!) Hopefully November's cumulative update will remedy this, or you guys get your MSDN setup squared away to assist with this troubleshooting. Thanks for looking into it!

Jason,

Quick note: just got around to completing this month's autopatching for November, with this month's cumulative update (KB4525236), and no problems with DVR! Guess it was a weird thing with last month's patch. All is well here, thanks for the responses. Cheers!

Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed from the Windows Store. It's supposed to auto-updated, but sometimes you have to go into the store and search HDHomeRun and select it before it realizes an update is available.

I just noticed I no longer have the DVR feature on any of my Windows 10 devices. I get a message on the HDHR "Recordings" panel: "Record your favorite shows with HDHomeRun DVR". I tried updating the app (no change), then I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it (no change). Then I ran the setup - made sure the DVR was specified. Rebooted. no change. Have I lost my activation by any chance?

FWIW, this is the info on one of my devices:

Model: HDHR5-4US
Device ID: 1076B99E
Firmware: 20190621

Nevermind! I found another post instructing to run
CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n="ef712ba7.hdhomerundvr_23nna27hyxhag".
I tried it and now my recorded shows are listed.

Thank you...you were correct, my auto update didn't work. The update resolved the issue.
