Last night was the first time in a long time I was able to watch for several hours without the dreaded error occuring, requiring a restart. Thanks SD, I know it wasn't easy to fix this one.

I have a similar problem on a Windows 10 machine. When I tune to a DRM channel the screen stays black or shows a still image of the last frame of a non-DRM channel that I changed from. I have no problems watching these channels from a Windows 7 PC, connecting to the same HDHomeRun Prime, with WMC.

I have a Nvidia Video card that states in it's control panel say that the graphics card and display are HDCP compatible. Nvidia Geforce GT 710 with driver 431.60. Connecting to a TV via an HDMI-HDMI cable.

But Arcsoft BD and 3D assistant says the driver is not HDCP compliant.

I installed the latest video card drivers
I removed and reinstalled the HD HomeRun software that did not help.
I followed the troubleshooting instructions. I installed the latest beta release of HD HomeRun and upgraded the firmware on the Prime.
I went into HDHomeRun setup and enabled send diagnostic data
I powered off and powered on the HD home run prime
I did a channel scan on the HD homerun prime
I then turned on the HDhomerun viewer on my windows 10 PC. I went to a non-drm channel that played, then at 8:04pm EST on 10/22/2019 I changed to DRM channel 717, then I changed to another non-drm channel at 8:05pm EST I changed to DRM channel 725. I each case the problem was as I described above.
My HDhomerun prime has device id 1326D7E5

Please enable the sending of diagnostic data within the gear menu in the viewer app and then try to watch a DRM channel, and reply back once that's been completed.

I could not find the gear icon. Then I realized I was using the windows installed program which does not have the gear. I downloaded the app from the windows 10 app store and now it's working. Thank you.
