Looks like the temp fix when you have a black blank screen is to "Press the Play/Pause button 13 times & check box Early Access to new features" then restart the app & it works good. :D

On my Fire HDX 7" tablet the "early access" fix made the app work again. Well, part of it.
While the TV display is ok, I can't change the channels anymore. Tapping the screen does not open the sidebar with the stations. So I am stuck with the last channel that I chose before the problem

Waiting for a working update...

We are aware of the issue with touchscreen devices not registering touches in some places and are working on an update. We wanted to get the update out to get box users working while we continued to work on the touch issues.

So far no update was published on the Amazon appstore for the Fire HDX.
Why not release the previous version again?

The UI code is loaded remotely, not through the app store.

Hi All,

Apologies in advance, but I cross posted this in another thread under "Downloading Unofficial Kodi HDHR Pgm Using Git Browser", and I am repeating here since KenF suggested in this thread that I sideload the unofficial Kodi Addon by djp952", zuki.pvr.hdhomerundvr-android-aarch64-krypton-2.2.1.7153.zip.

I tried sideloading the add-on zip file but I get the following error message in my log: "Failed to install Add-On from zip file, The dependency on kodi.guilib version 5.11.0 could not be satisfied." Does anyone know what I should do next? I have a Beelink GT-1 64 bit running Android 6.0 and Kodi Krypton. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you need a newer version of Kodi. Leia/18 has been the current stable version for a while now.
