Post by Mikebrew771 » Fri Jul 05, 2019 1:34 pm

is there a way to select what channels are brought into the lineup after the scan is done? in another words in looking to remove unnecessary channels.

Thanks!

If you use only modern devices, disable the unwanted channels on the device's lineup page (click star to make it a favorite(yellow), then click the filled in star to disable, click again (the X) if you wish to make it normal). Legacy devices will always report the full channel list from the windows scan.

Is an HDHR3-US considered a "legacy" device?

Yes. The only 3rd gen device (HDHR3) that isn't legacy is the Prime (HDHR3-CC).

(Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Also the expand (dvb-c, essentially a prime without a cablecard and the oob tuner can be used for tuning)
