Post by ajmc@me.com » Wed Jun 12, 2019 1:10 pm

I just installed the hdhomerun_mac_20190611beta1. Crash on every run. I'm surprised there does not seem to be a way to attach the log...shall I just paste it here? In any case here is the first page:

Did earlier versions work correctly?

Please email support at silicondust dot com and attach the full log to that.

Yes all was working prior to the Beta install. While awaiting a response I reinstalled the release version, now I'm getting a crash with that too. I expect that there are some items that are still on my Mac from the beta install. Could you please instruct me on what i need to remove to get operational again?
I'll send the full log now.
Al

Hello.
One possible solution is to clear the application settings data as this is the path at which the crash is occurring.
To do this:
Uninstall the application
Open a Finder window
Type: CMD SHIFT G
This brings up a "Go to folder" dialog
Type (case sensitive): ~/Library/Caches
Press "Go" button
Look for the folder called "com.silicondust.hdhomerun"
Move that folder to trash.
Now reinstall the application
