Unable to play channel - Protocol Error

Another weekend, another problem trying to watch TV.

I was watching live TV and recordings on Saturday with no issues. I haven't changed anything since then, but now when I try to watch TV, I'm getting "Unable to play channel - Protocol Error" - This is happening on NVidia shield and the Windows app.

What appears to have happened is that the DVR app died and I restarted it as the admin user and not the root user. It looks like that user didn't have permission to create a new file under the live TV directory. Changing the permissions allowed it to run again.
