Downloads: App vs. Software

On the HDHR downloads page, https://www.silicondust.com/support/downloads/, what is the difference between the "HDHomeRun App for XXX" and the "HDHomeRun Software for XXX" downloads?

app is client ("view")

software is "full" package ("setup", hdhomreun_config...)
