I have an annual DVR subscription that should be good through April, but my hdhomerun.com is now saying, "No HDHomeRun DVR detected." I had no problem with the DVR last week. I haven't changed anything with the DVR software (version 20180327), and the PC is running with the software running with no change recently.
While I do not think it is the cause of your actual issue(*), the latest DVR software is 20180817.I haven't changed anything with the DVR software (version 20180327)
(*) The first things to check are the logs from the record engine and make sure the engine is running. They will sometimes tell you where next to look. Have you made any recent changes to your internal network, or changed your internet gateway config, or has your external IP recently changed due to a recent Internet outage/restart? You can try to restart the engine to cause it to call home "now" to enable the dvr and ip association to be renewed for some of the cases.
Yeah, I went ahead and upgraded to version 20180817, and that did not fix the problem. Within HDHomeRun Setup on the DVR tab, it indicates that the DVR account is active. I have this PC set for recordings, as I always have. Within the setup application, everything looks good. But the client apps still indicate no DVR set up. And, my.hdhomerun.com still says no HDHomeRun DVR detected. This really seems like an issue on the SiliconDust end with recognizing my active DVR account. Hopefully someone from SD can respond.
Your DVR is missing the StorageID setting in the registry, which should have been set when you installed the new software version. Do you have anything in place designed to interfere with programs accessing the registry?
I'm having a similar issue. I just installed the DVR on a new Windows 10 computer. I unchecked the DVR on the old computer, but my.hdhomerun.com still does not show the new DVR. It's been about 6 hrs and I've rebooted the computer several times.

It fixed a bug where the StorageID setting was not added to the registry on the very first install, which is needed for the DVR to show up on my.hdhomerun.com. The only other change is that it includes the latest Win10 viewer app which will be sideloaded if sideloading is enabled.
