I also have been having this issue. It seems to go away if I disable the DVR on my Windows 10 machine.

After the latest firmware update I'm experiencing highly unstable and unreliable playback on all Windows 10 machines. It's unwatchable. Skipping, stuttering, pixelization, freezing - you name it. I've tried every possible solution I can think of. DVR running on Windows 10 as well.

A mess. Going backwards in reliability.

Now it's stable. For now. Intermittent. Weird.

i was able to fix all my stuttering issues by the C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun folder to my Windows Defender and Malwarebytes exclusions. I would try adding this folder or specifically the hdhomerun_record.exe process to your virus programs exceptions list.

Exact same issues here! very frustrated with SD and my Connect product. HAS never really worked since day one. I've been thinking I was having antenna issues but when I hook my antenna directly to my TV it plays flawless. Problem with this is I can't feed my other TV's and devices and no DVR.

The system your record engine is running on is having problems. Continued in your thread here: viewtopic.php?f=119&t=70471

I’m uncertain about this, as I’m not an expert... but I unplugged the hd homerun prime power and Ethernet, replugged it in, and I think that eliminated the stutter I was getting on some channels. Have a feeling that after updating the firmware, a hard reset like this helps.
