HDHR5-4K, Kodi and LiveTV DVR

I am wanting to buy the HDHR5-4K. I’m currently using Kodi and have a personal NAS SMB for storing all my TV shows/movies recorded from Netflix/Playon.tv. I have them saved to my SMB Drive and update my Kodi library as needed. Is it possible to record from the HDHR5-4K directly to my SMB network drive? How does one do this and what software would I need? Also, I believe I will need a guide. I heard Plex has a lifetime guide, but I don’t know if that would work with Kodi or my setup? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks all!
