Is there anywhere where navigating the Channels App is documented ?
Searching or posting on our community site is the best bet for now. We know this isn't a great experience, so documentation/guides are one of our big focus areas for 2019.

After using Channels for several days, I'm liking it a lot.

I think the interface does a much better job helping the viewer find the TV programs they want to watch.

I'm thinking I'll be sticking with it and hope to see it continue to improve.
+1 and remote viewing is so easy … just works... same interface. Make sure tuner sharing is on all the clients in the DVR settings.

I don't see a tuner sharing setting per client, just one "share tuners" option.
Each client has the option … you have to set it on each client you use. DVR settings on each client "Tuner Sharing" if that is not set to on then that client will use it's own tuner.

I am using Channels DVR for out of home streaming and it is SO much better than my experience with Plex for out of home streaming. Channels works nearly flawlessly.

A thousand times this. My wife and I have an entertainment travel kit now that includes an Apple TV and we happily watched our Channels DVR while on our Christmas vacation. Super high wife approval factor (WAF) for Channels at home and also on the road!

Channels does not support Protected Content and they have stated they are not planning to add that capability even just for viewing. Whereas the Google Live Channels does, so I'll stick with that for my viewing until I see they have implemented it.

As I understand it, Live Channels is actually using SD's software behind the scenes to display protected content; it does not handle the protected content on its own.

I use Channels as my out of house streaming solution and Channels will display all DRM content both in house and out of house. Also, none of my channels are Copy Once Protected.
