Closed Caption keeps turning on after restart

I have HD Home Run Running on a Hi Sense TV with Android TV. Running HD Home Run 20210211 (App) 20210210 (UI) (beta). Running HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO Firmware version 20210210

Every time I power cycle the TV and open the HDHomerun app the channels display with Closed Captions turned on. This doesn't happen on My Nvidia Shield, Chrome Cast or Mi box S It only happens on the Hisense TV with Android TV. Other apps such and Philo, Amazon Prime, Discovery + don't have this issue only the HDHomerun app.

I have closed caption under the accessibility tab turned off in all three areas. But its still turns on every time I power cycle the TV

Anyone have any ideas?

Captions will turn on when volume level is 0. Often pass through audio may have volume at 0 but not noticed as the "external" device controls the volume. Also make sure to exit with it off, don't just power off.
