Greetings,
I have 2 HD Homerun units that have served me well for the past decade. I have recently cut the (TV) cable and want to get broadcast TV from my off-air antenna. I was wondering if I can just plug in my antenna to the HD Homerun(s) and use them as normal. I will have to remove the cable cards as they belong to the provider.
Will this just work as I think it should, albeit with less channels?
Thanks,
Matt|ttaM
HD Homerun with Off Air Antenna
Re: HD Homerun with Off Air Antenna
No, the HD HomeRun Prime units (ones that use Cable Cards) do not have tuners capable of OTA reception. You would need a HomeRun Quatro or Duo to receive over the air broadcast TV.

Well that wasn't the answer I wanted to hear, but your quick response saved me a couple hours of re-wiring, and troubleshooting. So thanks a tonne for the quick reply!!!
