Wireless bridge work with SD hardware & DVR

I pay $50/mo for wired/wireless internet service in my unit. I live right next to the AP that provides FREE community wide wifi that is 2x faster than what I pay for.

Is there a device that would convert the community wifi into a private wired/wifi network in my unit for use with SD and FireTV devices?

Would such a setup work with the Scribe and FireTV devices?

Any suggestions on specific devices that could work to provide this setup?
