HomeRun 4K direct to Synology NAS

Is it practical to have my HomeRun 4K homerun directly to my Synology NAS 1513+? The NAS has 4 ethernet ports on the back.

I don't believe that would work, The HDHomerun would not get an IP address.
What are you attempting to accomplish?

I should have mentioned the tuner feeds into PLEX which resides on the NAS.

Currently I have ~12 devices hitting my switch... I was thinking the HD Homerun could bypass the switch. I honestly do not know if that would make any difference/gains. I believe I would lose access to the HD Homerun from the main PC though.....
