Hey guys,
I am in the process of activating a cable card but the menus under cable card seem to be missing. Any idea?

Re: Host ID Missing
Is the card inserted properly and detected? What do the logs say? Usually when I have seen people report this either the card wasn't detected or they got an old (single stream) s-card that won't work as one needs a m-card.

I’ve use the m-card before and I also have used the HDHomeRun before as well but with a different ISP.

Re: Host ID Missing
Probably a bad card, try another one (or six).

Re: Host ID Missing
You might try and see if you bent a bin or inserted upside down (verify visually, don't arbitrarily flip it to check) as MCard Inserted has shown up in the past when not pushed all the way in and/or a particular pin is detected in a certain state but it most likely is a bad card.
Re: Host ID Missing
I requested a new card. It should be here in 2 days. Let’s see what happpens
Re: Host ID Missing
Updating the thread in case someone else experiences the same in the future at least they can use my findings as a reference. I was able to replace the card and automatically the missing menus and Host ID data became available. I was also able to confirm with Verizon that the card is deactivated but the agent did not know how to reactivate it without the Host ID. Catch 22
Re: Host ID Missing
It's not a catch 22, just a bad card. They wouldn't be able to reactivate it even if they had the host ID because the card didn't get to the point of enabling the out of band connection.
