When looking at LTE filters be sure to look for 608MHz pass / 618MHz reject – if the pass band is below 608MHz it will block the higher TV frequencies. If the pass band is above 608MHz it will not block the new “600MHz” LTE band that starts at 618MHz.

Ordered one to try but the last 600Mhz one (that was supposedly 608 from some posts but previously marketed as 600) took too much from 35 in north phoenix and definitely didn't allow any possibility of 36. I'm sure I'll use it somewhere.

Does the new LTE band only apply to 5G, or can 3G/4G also use it?

I just installed one of theirs last month - would have preferred to support SD, but didn't know this was coming.

The filter attenuates any signal that happens to be operating on those frequencies.
Longer explanation:
LTE signals cause problems for TV reception because most TV antennas in North America are still designed for peak performance on the channels that were eliminated from TV use and are now used for cellular service, and because most people live a lot closer to a cell tower than they do to the TV broadcast towers. This combination can make those cellular signals 10s or 100s of times more powerful than the TV signals you want to receive. TV tuners are pretty good about isolating only the signals they actually want and ignoring the others, but if you blast the others in with enough power, that can just overwhelm things and cause problems. The filter fixes that particular problem by severely limiting how much gets through on those unwanted frequencies.

Was hoping to get it today... just got a text from tracking saying it is in Albuquerque New Mexico though picked up in Phoenix yesterday for delivery to Phoenix... perhaps Amazon got tracking number wrong or it wasn't actually picked up in Phoenix like it said or perhaps USPS is having troubles (yesterday I was surprised to see it marked as picked up so quickly as many have been having issues with USPS lately often taking 2-7 days to even reflect items being picked up).

Just ordered mine but sadly Amazon says I wont receive it until sometime between 1/6/21 to 1/11/21 !!

The only way to test it is to have measurable LTE signals in the area and see if they significantly decrease or not with/without the filter, while not affecting the desired RF range. I guess you could use the HDHomeRun Setup utility and manually tune to such frequencies and use that to see if the LTE frequencies change, and same for the TV frequencies to see if they don't change.
